Magnum Radiology started as a family-owned and operated business. President John Smithson has been installing, servicing, and refurbishing diagnostic radiology equipment since the 1980s. He began his career with GE Medical Service, moved on to start and eventually sell his own company, and then founded Magnum with his sons as second-generation radiology technicians. Having worked with their dad since their teens, Kent and Kurt Smithson are developing their own stand-out reputations for servicing equipment with the same intuitive know-how and dedicated focus on customer service. Although the company has grown beyond the Smithson family, the values and vision have stayed the same. We’re driven professionals who are experts in what we do and seek economical and creative solutions to service, refurb or upgrade medical imaging equipment.
